Flowers

This cake was for a friend of mine's birthday. I wanted to make it a little girly and kind of simple. She liked it.

Big Transformer Cake

This cake was for my friend's son's 6th birthday. There were 2-8" square double layer cakes, 1-8" round double layer cake and 2 round cakes cut to the shapes of the decepticon and autobot patch.

Bang Bang Choo Choo Train

This cake was for my friend's son's 3rd birthday. Trains are his favorite so I wanted to create a hillside train track and I think it turned out nice.

The Little Mermaid Castle Cake

This was for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She wanted The Little Mermaid and she chose the colors for the cake. The entire cake is edible, including the pillars.

Transformer Cupcake Cake

This was my first cupcake cake and my first time using a frozen buttercream transfer. It was great and I am very happy with the way it turned out (aside from misspelling birthday! Oops!).

Doll Cake

Here is a doll cake. Not the neatest, but usually these typs of shaped work better when covered in fondant and I am still tinkering with that method.

Cakes

This was a cake that I was practicing on. I was trying to create bamboo and flowers that look similar to cherry blossoms.

About Me

My name is Jenn. I live in Okinawa, Japan with my Husband Matt, our 2 kids Matthew and Madison, and our dog Belle. We have been here since October 2007 and so far we really enjoy living here.
I was in the Navy from September 1997 until November 2004. It was an advaneture, but not one I wanted to continue once my husband and I started our family. Since then, I have been a stay-at-home mom. For fun, I started baking all sorts of things, but really took to decorating cakes. I am no professional, but I like to think that I am pretty talented. I still have a lot to learn, but I think that is the best part about it. There is so much out there that you can do with cake. It's great!
Let me know what you think and if anyone has any ideas, tips, questions, or requests please let me know. Thanks for visiting.
